The Critter Barn Inc. is a small, family run pet grooming and boarding kennel, started in 1994, and incorporated in 2001. The Critter Barn Inc has also been a full line, exclusive dealer for Poulin Grain Family Feeds since 1994.

The unique setting of The Critter Barn includes not only pet grooming and boarding services, a large selection of feed and supplies for both pets and farm animals but also horse-drawn hayrides and sleigh rides as well as many animals available to see and sometimes to buy. (see pictures below): American Warmbloods Nationally Recognized by the AWS, Miniature Sicilian Donkeys, Nigerian and Dwarf Goats, and a variety of Rabbits.

Our darling Warmblood filly, born and bred here, out of our first Belgian mare Suzy and a beautiful APHA registered stallion named Whoop Tee Doo, our Izzy... says 'Come on in!'

Very exciting day for us when our Siamese kitty, Mya, had her first litter... March 9, 2009. She had 6 beautiful kitties! These babies will have had their first shots and be ready to go to new homes - really good homes - on May 4. If you are interested, please contact us to see if any are still available! Madison had her second foal 4/20/2009! He is nearly, if not completely, black! Very pretty! This little boy is FOR SALE and will be ready to go to a great home in August! Our first goat, Lucy, came to us about 5 years ago. In her first batch of babies was Ethel. And Ethel has had many babies for us since, all of them just as cute as anything can be! Watching them play on the rocks by our pond causing a lot of traffic issues! These 3 from last year are gone, but we have more due in a few months!!

Spring and Summer mean lots of peeping here... We offer a selection of laying hen chicks as well as broiler chicks and all kinds of geese, ducks and turkeys as well. We will be ordering again starting in March or April depending on when warmer weather returns!

Whoop Z's at American Warmblood Society Inspection in 2006. 'Izzy' received recognition as Red Certified and also received, because of her score, the AWS brand.

Another filly out of our Belgian mare, Suzy, sired by the same APHA stallion that sired Izzy & Elsa (see link above) ... this is The Big Chill or 'Chilly'.

The foal on the left, Pogo, was our highest scoring AWS foal rating the highest possible, Supreme. He was nationally recognized that year as the highest scoring foal nationally. Pictured in the right, with him, is his half-sister Roxanne.

This old picture is a must include as it is our FIRST American Warmblood foal out of our mare Sally. This foal, Bumble Bee, also AWS Red Certified was the first of several of our foals out of the stallion Dutch Warmblood 'The Sting'. Sally died of cancer after producing many wonderful Belgian foals as well.
